About Liz Scott
I understand how tough finding the right clothes can be because I spent years beating myself up about the way I looked, which in turn undermined how I felt about myself. Not feeling comfortable about choosing and wearing clothes really knocked my confidence. At a time when my self esteem was at all time low I decided to invest in a session with an Image Consultant myself and learn how to dress to suit my shape, size, personality and colouring. In addition to how I felt about myself, other people noticed too; and I believe that's a combination of how you look on the inside and the confidence and poise you project from the inside.
Having experienced first hand the 'before and after' effect of style and colour services, I realised how passionate I felt about helping others in a similar situation, helping them to look and feel great about both clothes and about themselves. I had a real desire to share my learning with others and decided that training as an Image Consultant myself would be a great way to help others in this way.
After extensive training with Colour Me Beautiful, I went on to set up Imagetastic and haven't looked back since. My passion for helping others and continuing to learn what makes people look and feel great is my driving force and what makes me leap out of bed each morning!
My style is very warm, informal and fun; I'm great at putting people at ease so that they can relax and enjoy every minute of their session. Many people think that Image Services are only for certain types of people; I believe they are for everyone who cares about their appearance, wants to feel great and make a good impact where ever they go.
I am really passionate about helping people raise their confidence levels through how they look and how they feel about how good they look!
I am married with 2 young children and understand the challenges of looking after a family, having a career of my own and needing to make the right impact whether I'm with clients, at networking events or socialising with friends and family. Having a well-chosen wardrobe of clothes and knowing how to apply my make-up quickly and effectively is essential to me in managing my time (I don't know how I would have coped before!).
Before training as an image consultant I worked for various corporate companies in various sales and marketing roles, thus helping me to understand the corporate world of work, dress codes and lasting first impressions!
